Monsters GT v7 for After Effects

Install Instructions

Monsters GT V7 contains support for floating point images and GPU acceleration. GPU acceleration requires that your machine have a CUDA capable NVIDIA graphics card with a suitable driver installed (185.85 or later is required for use with CUDA 2.2).

The installers below are for use with AE CS4, AE CS5, and CS5.5.

To Download and install:

  1. Make sure you have one or more AE plug-in compatible applications on Windows.
  2. Quit AE or other host applications that may be running.
  3. Download the appropriate installer:
  1. Either run the installer program from its current location, or save it to disk and then execute it from wherever you saved it. Follow the instructions given by the installer.
  2. Restart your host application, and the new plug-ins should appear in your effects menu.

To view on-line documentation after you install the software, go to Start -> All Programs -> GenArts Monsters GT V7 for AE CS4/CS5-> Online Help (PDF).

Monsters GT V7 contains support for floating point images and GPU acceleration. GPU acceleration requires that your machine have a CUDA capable NVIDIA graphics card with a suitable driver installed.

Monsters GT 7.0 supports After Effects CS4, After Effects CS5, and After Effects CS 5.5.

To Download and install:

Restart your host product, and the new plug-ins should appear in your effects menu.

  1. Make sure you have one or more AE plug-in compatible applications on Mac OS 10.3.9 or greater.
  2. Quit AE or other host applications that may be running.
  3. Download the Monsters GT V7 Mac installer for CS4 (68 Mb) OR Download the Monsters GT V7 Mac installer for CS5(76 Mb).
  4. Run the installer. When it asks for your passphrase, enter your Mac user login password, and follow the instructions given by the installer.

To view on-line documentation after you install the software, go to the /Applications/GenArtsMonsters-ae folder (CS4) OR /Applications/GenArtsMonsters-ae64 folder (CS5) and double click on Online Help.pdf. You can also click on the "About" box while using any plug-in.
