What maximum color depth do your plug-ins support?
Raptors plug-ins process internally at 15-bit color depth. Color information at a higher bit depth is truncated to 15 bits during processing.
I’ve upgraded to Quantel V3.6 and my plug-ins don't work.
In Quantel V3.6 the plug in API has changed so you will need to use the Raptors plug-ins for Quantel V3.6. Your Raptors V1.2 licenses will still be valid for the new software.
Why can't I see all the plug-ins in my plug-ins list?
In Generation Q some Raptors plug-ins are categorized as Qeffects and some as Qutilities – remember to look in both locations.
The System ID uniquely identifies a particular computer it is the MAC address of the ethernet adapter. To find this do to Start>Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt. In the window type: ipconfig/all The ethernet adapter physical address will be given in the form xx:yy:zz:aa:bb. If Raptors plug-ins are already installed you can also go to Start>Programs>SpeedSix>License ID to display the MAC address.
Your Raptors license file will usually be supplied by e-mail and has a .lic extension. Do not edit this file in any way, you just need to copy it to the Raptors license folder. On Windows platforms this can be found at: C:\ProgramFiles\SpeedSix\Licenses. On Unix platforms this can be found at: /usr/local/SpeedSix/Licenses.
Where can I find my Raptors License File?
On Windows platforms the Raptors license file can be found at: C:\Program\Files\SpeedSix\Licenses
On Unix platforms it can be found at: /usr/local/SpeedSix/Licenses
How do I know when my temporary license expires?
To read the file open a suitable text editor (such as Wordpad on Windows platforms) and open the file from within the text editor. The license expiry date is noted in the file.
Are floating licenses available for Raptors?
All Raptors licenses for this platform are node-locked to the individual computer – floating licenses are not available.
